At the last vwd Experience Days in Frankfurt, Munich and Hamburg, about 80 users of our vwd solutions took the opportunity to catch up on the modular range of solutions, further developments and our cloud-based platform solutions and to exchange information and ideas with the vwd product developers.
These are the results of our survey:
The priorities have hardly changed in the last year. The digitization of customer profiling, the creation of offers and contracts are still at the top of the list, also for asset management.
The participants stated that they want to have completed the digitization of the internal process over the next three years.
In client profiling, data has to be collected consistently via managed processes, be automatically available in all systems and be forwarded to clients. Currently, less than 20% of respondents are able to do this.
In customer advisory services, there is a need for guided processes to support the consultant in order to provide a faultless advice.
In rebalancing, we can support vwd users by automating the process to increase the speed of implementation of the investment decision, which was also a subject among the participants.
Regarding reporting, the users stated that they would supplement print reporting with online reporting in the short term to replace it completely later. 47% stated that they intended to have the process fully digitized over the next three years. The vwd Postbox has become a common feature and opens the door to the digital end customer channel. The Postbox enables comprehensive document provision (reports from the vwd portfolio manager, marketing documents, transaction information, etc.) to the end customer.
A fully digitized onboarding process is currently implemented by less than 10% of the users, but is considered important due to the changed customer behavior.
Most of the users also indicated that the profiling process was still analog. Self-profiling by the customer is intended to complete and not replace analog.
So far, hybrid consulting has not been an issue. The advice and the closing of an asset management deal should remain personal. In addition to the personal advisory service, tools such as video advisory are to be used.
